Thanks you for the beautiful video. When I have large stamps, l put a bigger heavier board on top to get even pressure and then rock the board. It seems to work for me…. 😀😀

Hi Jas, seen 2 of your demos here. It’s wonderful that you’ve included RU-vid in your ambit. I’d love to see how you make the 2 small vases that you showed in this video. Their white glaze looked lovely on the buff clay.

Hello Jas, I'm a beginner and love your videos, and yes there are lot of takeaways from your videos., thankyou for all the information you share. Could you make a video on making pieces using the large sponge? Also should I wedge the clay before rolling for handbuilding purpose?

I love your videos, too. If I were to visit India, what city would I find stamps like this? Is there a particular area/region where these artisan stamp makers live?

Thank you! I think Jaipur/ rajasthan is where a lot of the blockprint artisans and makers are..

Oh yes! So sand them down. Also if they still feel sticky on wet clay, just dust your clay with a bit of cornstarch.

Sprinkle baby powder over your clay before stamping... much easier. Perfect impressions everytime, use a rubber mallet, lightly hit center, top, bottom, sides. Or use a rolling pin!!!
