Wooden Vase Turned On My Lathe 

This is the second wooden vase I have turned. I used a piece of hardwood firewood as a blank. Since I don't have a scroll chuck I used a faceplate and glue block instead. A Forstner bit was used to hollow it out, and the vase was finished with four coats of tung oil and furniture wax for a shine.
