Hi All and thanks a bunch for watching todays video on Woodgate Beach & Theodolite Creek near Bundaberg in Queensland. 50 minutes is not bad at all to have such secluded beach access and calm waters where you can enjoy the day. The water looks absolutely gorgeous 😍 I love sand bars!!! They’re my absolute favorite when I visit the beach. Paddle boarding looks like it would be really peaceful there. I tried to paddle board in water with a slight current once before and it was miserable lol. 😆 I love seeing all of the fish 🐠 marine life is so amazing to observe 🙌
Definitely.... the waters are very calm for paddle boarding. Pity I didn't have one there myself on that day 🤣🤣. Love my beach spots too.... I'm heading back up this way to try some astro shots next week's....let's see if the clouds stsy away. Might take some drone footage at another beach. Thanks for watching guys... hope your staying safe in Mexico 👍😁
Hi there all the way over in Switzerland. Such a beautiful country you have and loved visiting there a few years ago. Really appreciate you stopping by and watching this week's addition and so glad you like it.
This is a great video for those planning a trip to the area, very informative with beautiful footage. I think it would be fun to visit during low tide and go out on the sandbars.
Yes it was hard timing the footage as I wanted to see the channels but some were deep to cross and you couldn't tell how far from the ground. The swimming we did was right near the shore. There was 2 visits trying to time the tides and we got there in the end. Thanks for watching guys...glad you enjoyed it. Hope your safe and well over there 😁👍
Nicely done, Chris! I was expecting more roos, but it was a treat with your mix of ground, underwater, and aerial photography/videography. Lovely progression of skills with the DResolve, by the way. Good on you both for bringing this destination to part of our world. Cheers!!!
Awww...so sweet Nate and glad you found the time for this short one today.... stay tuned for the kangaroos, that's edited and uploaded for next week and really happy how it's turned out... but about 10 mins. I'm trying to get a lot of variety in my videos these days...changing it up and testing new things. Trying to keep the viewer interested too
I appreciate the nice comments too.... I think I need to spend some more time on new ways to edit...maybe looking at a new function each week. I follow the people you suggested and got one thing I want to try...just not sure where to put it in my videos...lol
@@AquariusTraveller I loved the intro storytelling of “swimming”, etc. And don’t think I didn’t notice the color work in the titles at the beginning. 😉 I say that you should be very proud of your work. You are the storyteller, videographer, pilot, director, editor, etc. Well done! 🥂
Theodolite Creek looks unbelievable!!! Love the sandbanks that form! It looks so spectacular! You may have mentioned this but is the water pretty warm?
We visited in November and the water is pretty warm most of the year up there. The sand banks is the reason I went there and probably go back to walk a lot of them later... they do make a very effective design but you have to time it well with the tides.
All good, out of 20 yt vids I don't think that anyone says it correctly (it is a trigonometry device used by surveyors) we are going back up to Woodgate in October with our pup He will have a ball, BRILLIANT PLACE
I love the place too... actually grew up in Bundy and wish I spent more time there. Unfortunately as a traveller...unless you're constantly talking to locals, there will be miss pronunciations. This wasn't my first and expect not my last. Hope you have a blast there... very much a paradise 💖🏝
@@AquariusTraveller I did not mean to sound condescending, I have watch just about every YT vid and I thought it funny that no-one could pronounce it, so enjoy your travels we certainly do enjoy ours both in OZ and O/S
Ummm if your going to show places how about you pronounce it correctly it is pronounced "thee od o light" Not "theo- dight" wow insults to locals who named it
