Woodie’s Wash Shack officially opened their 10th Florida location, and I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening. During which, all customers received free washes.
This location was built right off the exit of I-75 and a small private road, surrounded by a Walmart, Zaxby’s, and a movie theater. Gibsonton is built similarly to most of the Woodie’s corporate locations. Two Sonny’s pay station lanes with LPR, a roughly 100’ wash tunnel, and Sonny’s central vacuum areas. The biggest difference is inside the wash tunnel itself. This site is the first to feature an AVW graphic entrance arch, AVW entrance module, and an AVW correlator. Two sets of Sonny’s compact top brushes are featured in this tunnel. Instead of the traditional dual action grill brush, this tunnel features MacNeil Sonics after the second wrap to agitate the wheels before high pressure. This wash runs 100% no prep.
