Check out how we used the WoodMizer LT40 Wide to mill up this White Oak log! It turned out so cool! Check out our Instagram page @luckynelsonssawmill to see more pictures!
I never heard of anybody cutting countertops before. Everyone seems to be after River run table tops. It certainly is a nice piece of wood. Unbelievably good really. Stay safe God bless. 🇨🇦✌️
Wow ! that is an awesome piece of wood, wish I was closer to get my hands on some of that :) I see you have a few beautiful big ones dry piled there, great videos keep them coming :)
You lifted the large end? So the center is 14 inches above the rail on the small end and 18 inches above the rail on the big end? Ah !! Got it. Camera trickery. The lift is at the small end. Been on a saw or hammer for 60 years,, never seen a white oak like that. Beautiful.
@@LuckyNelsonsSawmill mostly spruce and Birch. But I’ve cut some cottonwood as well, just not a lot you can do with cottonwood, the big birch have like a rose pattern on the base, the bigger the pattern the more beautiful dark grain, but as far as hardwood that’s it
Why send that gorgeous white oak crashing onto the hydraulic arms just to be damaged? Why not put the fork right next to the mill and then move it right over?
