Joni never made ot but my goodness not only was she there in spirit but all her nearest and dearest done some job without her!! I'm oy 46 but just love the whole idea and the music of Woodstock even though it was the last page of the revolution. Hard to believe the establishment is so solid even in the dace of the 60s
As someone who was nine years old at the time and aware Woodstock was happening, Chiara, I can say your rendition of this song captured the spirit of that summer.

I love CSN’s version of this, but Joni’s is much more elegant, and it has a way of creeping into your heart and touching your soul. You, being an artist as well as musician, might enjoy that if you take a look at CSN’s ‘Greatest Hits’ album cover, the artwork was painted by Joni. You do not Play the keyboard, you caress it. Mesmerizing. Most of us strive for the "soft touch" on guitar or keys, you have accomplished that. Your vocals are spot on and not strained. Best rendition ever. God bless! ¥ou are at your best when solo.
You cant take a bad or even average musician & train them up to be this good - theres no 2 ways about it, this is an extremely beautiful & rare natural gift that in consideration of the worlds population - is extremely rare indeed. Pretty much a super-human.

I never made it to Woodstock, either. My ride left me waiting on the corner 200 miles away. Your perfect rendition of this song contains all of the feelings that I/we had that summer and that Joni recorded for us. Young hopes for the future amidst so much violence and depression. And did we ever get "back to the Garden"? Well, some of us got closer, but still...

OM ABSOLUTE G!!!!!! I haven't heard this tune for about 1000yrs, and I'd kind of forgotten it, but then, when you started away with the melody, it all came back. WOW! I know it's a decent mike and all, but I don't quite understand how your voice can be so utterly perfect. I mean, truly note perfect. NOT only note perfect, but your diction too; it's just amazing. Love it! Not only fantastic vocal range - but she uses her high-register so tastefully, while never overdoing it. Part of the piano phrasings are very reminiscent of the song 'Bad Company ' by Bad Company... but that's not a criticism b.c. it's haunting effect fits into these lyrics so well and it works perfectly... If that was intentional, again - it's perfect!

I was a teenage Joni Mitchell fan when I first heard this and have heard it countless times since. Even though you are mainly replicating what she did vocally--and singing like Joni Mitchell is no mean feat--you bring in many subtle elements beyond her original performance. You made me cry and I will be back to listen to this many times again. Thank you.
