Stunning goblet Steve, the wood is beautiful. Was great to see how you made the stem and your process through it all. Thanks for sharing. Keep on turning. Cheers, Bluey 👍
Excellent craftsmanship my friend.....another inspired work of art. There is a challenge going around here in America among various wood turners to "carve" leaves (such as Calla Lilys) on the lathe....some nice work emerging. Be well.
Thank you so much Steve for a very interesting upload. The goblet deserves to be in a high-end art shop. I live in Ireland so carob wood would be considered by me to be exotic. Having said that, in years past we holidayed in Cyprus where the carob tree grows.
What a beautiful piece! I enjoy watching you make your art. As I have watched your videos, I am wondering if you have a homemade bandsaw. Is it homemade and if so, do you have plans for making one? I need one for my shop, but they are so expensive for the size needed for woodturning. thanks for sharing your work.
