In this video I turn a segmented vase using Black Palm with Oak brick highlights .. I finished it with sanding sealer and an abrasive paste but will do more work to the finish once the piece has settled down after a few weeks ..

You're right to say that black palm has the coolest grain, it almost looks like animal print. Very handsome indeed, and I love it that you never stain any of your pieces.

WOW! That is definitely a cool and beautiful finished piece of art... don't really think it needs anything further. However, the time and patience it must have taken to get to that end result must have been extensive with all the individual cutting and gluing, and drying, and gluing some more, etc... It was like an intricate jigsaw puzzle that had to be methodically assembled. AMAZING! Thanks for sharing, and take care.
