@@nickzammeti My wording was a bit off - I was thinking more of a "solid colors drizzling" into the resin for swirling/pooling/dripping effects. (A bit like you had tried with the shaving cream experiment only a bit thicker, like more of a "lava lamp" effect) Would probably be easier using colored candles than crayons, tbh - and more of a winter project since you'd have to light all of them to get them nice and melty and then take turns pouring them across the resin.

I thought the colour bleed from the paper had ruined it, but came out great with the light😃 Idea for a project: floating chalice. Two pieces of burl, or broken wood with jagged splinter-y ends facing each other, or even coloured pencils, with clear resin in between. Turn it so the resin part is the stem of a chalice and the cup seems to float above the base...

I've found if you seal paper first, it keeps the paper looking like it is outside of resin. The brown color is from the mix of colors in the crayon paper. It looks cool.

Once again don't throw it away........I'm gonna use that for a project (maybe, sometime, you know in the future) A nice wee pot there Mr Nick! A quick note........I'm out of hospital and at home. Thanks for being there and doing what you do!! You helped me survive 3 1/2 weeks in hospital!! I had congestive heart failure.....now I have a defibrillator. Anyways thanks again! Hey Nick, I have an idea for you to try And that is Taking wood shavings and many of the colored epoxy shavings mix them in resin and see what the result will be. Turn it into a flower vase. Outstanding!! Love this little Crayon wrapper pot! You couldn't have planned those wrappers sitting any better in the resin! I was almost half-way expecting to see a little Lego-Batman to be standing inside of it... I don't know what Lego has to do with Crayons, but, hey gotta expect the unexpected, Right? Haha! Which made me think of a Lego tower with Batman and other characters in resin, or even better, a Death-star with x-wing and tie fighters flying around it in resin! Dang, you're smart Nick! Good idea! :D

Idea for a future experiment? Wine corks in resin would look nice and give a unique texture with the hard resin and soft cork mixed.

Lay the crayon cases in a gradient colors flat sanwiched between resin to make a box side. One side red ,one side green,pink etc. You probably could make a really lovely Jewelry box.

It's hotter in London than here in the desert of southern Arizona (23 C). I love the way you turn scraps into works of art. Keep it up, Nick. By the way, the crayons melted due to the heat of reaction of the resin.
