We started a project that leaves trees that have been cut for various reasons.
This video uses an intricately shaped log to make an object-like bowl using a woodlathe.
This technique is called woodturning.
What is born from this complex shape? !

小さくではありますが、様々な事情により切られた木を形に残す活動を始めました。
この動画は、奇抜な形のカイヅカイブキの丸太から木工旋盤を使ってオブジェのような器を製作しています。
手法は、ウッドターニング(西洋木工ろくろ)というものになります。
果たしてこの複雑な形状からどのような物が生まれるのでしょうか？！
実用性は置きまして…とても面白い作品が出来たので最後まで見て貰えると嬉しいです。
