Woodturning - The Goblet

Hello everyone!
In this video I turned a goblet which is looking like a Stella Artois glass.
I used a chunk of poplar branch then carved the logo and star engrave on the surface of it.
hope you enjoy this video!

That put a major smile on my face. Stella is my beer and I have a couple of different Stella glasses to use whenever I drink it. I really like your rendition of the Stella glass. It's perfect. I'd love to have one of them. You are a very talented craftsman.

I'm looking for advice. I recently started wood turning and was on the fastest setting but i could only remove dust not grains like him but just dust and i just need to know what I did wrong

Hmmm... I think you need to know about how to sharpen your gouges and chisels first. And the fastest RPM does matter too. But I think the most important thing is you need to find some information about wood turning first. So, I strongly recommend you to find out some books such as Richard Raffan's one, or maybe you will be able to find some educational videos on RU-vid as well.
