Woodturning - The Too-Big Mulberry Platter 

In this woodturning video, I create a very large (really, too large as you’ll see in the video) platter from a very punky piece of Mulberry wood and resin.

Unfortunately, when I went to put in piece on my lathe, it was just a little bit too big; it hit the bed of the lathe and wouldn’t turn, so I had to move the headstock to the far end of the lathe and work the outside edge down to a size that would turn over the bed.
