That is really cool - Thanks! I happen to have one of these, but cannot imagine how you did that first thick piece so easily, nor even the the thin piece, without really pushing the material into the cutter wheels. Mine just skids and skips even on thin sheet metal unless you push really (REALLY) hard. That said, where can I find specific adjustment instructions, as I have never found a guide of any kind (not even on RU-vid)? I'm sure proper adjustment is the key since you are obviously cutting with ease.

Like your vid’s. If you did a demo on adjustments and tips on using it I’m sure you’d help a lot of folks out. I have a brand new one, and it’s almost useless. Makes Great step bead roller but that about it. From searching It seems this is a tool that gets a lot of trash talk, love it or hate it comments and requests for proper use. Out of the box mine will cut 22 gauge sloppy but that’s it.

I asked Darren at Woodward Fab and was told, "It is a tricky machine to adjust. Out of the box it is good for cutting 20 gauge and 18 gauge. In most cases the over lap of the blades gets messed up and all the user needs to do is loosen the lower cam, swing it up so the blades overlap 1/8” and retighten. In rare cases where people are wanting to cut heavier than 16 gauge material, we need to add a washer between the blades to provide a little gap and then still overlap the blades to 1/8”."

@@RedlineStands thanks for that. I’ll get back to the shop and give that a shot.

Sorry but I don't have experience with a Beverly Shear. All I've used is this machine and to date it's still working fine.
