great video. I was starting to buy into the hype machine around getting something like a Tormek... I am sure they are amazing... but as a hobbyist/ occasional woodworker I was hesitant to just go get any grinder for fear of ruining my tools. this was helpful.

If you can ever be bothered making another one of those nifty grinder stands, I’d love to see how you went about it (and then shamelessly plagiarise your method in my own workshop). I love the simplicity and almost infinite adjustability.

Personally I prefer my Robert Sorby system. I do also have a 6 inch slow speed grinder which I rarely use

I keep six honest serving men / (they taught me all I knew) / their names are What and Why and When / and How and Where and Who

"... but six inch is fine - it's not ideal, but it is ... fine". Could sound a little more reassuring.
