I wanted to plant a garden, but I wasn't thrilled about the tilling and weeding involved in a conventional garden. For this reason, I decided to build a raised planter box. I made mine out of cedar with pressure treated 4x4 legs. Dimensions are approximately 18" wide, 96" long, 7" deep, and it stands about 24" off the ground. Soil is a combination of 50% top soil and 50% manure/compost mix. Video music is "Exhale" by Jeremy Blake. Logo design by Brandon Kettle.

My daughter would love one. Her ground garden got tore up with bugs.

Mike, I have really enjoyed mine. You should build your daughter one for next year. One thing I would change though would be to put more dirt/compost in it. Once it settled, it was a bit too low. I would add another bag of each to it. Thanks so much for the view and the comment. I really appreciate it!
