My friend Joseph is directing M*A*S*H the play, and he asked me to build some props for it. I built the Camp Sign Post, 4 Army Footlockers, an Ammo Crate/Coffin, a "Swamp" sign, and Hawkeye's Gin Still. Filmed on the iphone 10 with the iphone camera stand. Logo design by Brandon Kettle.

Great job on the props ! I know you were making them for a play but because the movie and television series is such a iconic show i would think these would be great in any Mancave or Gsrage as well

Thanks Craig. You are right. Since the playhouse purchased all of the supplies, I didn't get to keep any of the props, but I have contemplated recreating a few for my collection. I have always been a big fan of both the movie and the TV show. Thanks.

Bifurcate! TT, could you explain why staples are the best option sometimes? I assume they hold stronger the brad nails?

Joe, they most definitely do hold better. A brad nail or a finish nail both have small heads so as to be able to hide them better. Because of this, sometimes the nail will pull right through a thin piece of wood. A staple however will not do that. You would have to take a big chunk of wood out for the piece to come off. The down side is it is harder to hide a staple. I use staples when I need good holding power and I don't care if they are seen. The most common place I use them is to hold a thin sheet of plywood on the back of a cabinet. Thanks for the view and comment!

@@thetennesseetinkerer Oh, I was thinking the flat wings of the staple would get better bite - but I forgot completely about how small the head is. Thanks for the info - you keep making 'em, I'll keep watching.
