Great episode. Too bad though that the perfect show got destroyed in Spelling Bee when Barry decided to take the 2 grand instead of trying to go for the car. Oh, well, I guess five and half winners out of six games played is nothing to sneeze at.
THe total prices of the Vacuum and Tea Service in Take Two were at least $1656. I remember the TPIR contestant who was Ray Combs' 9th grade science teacher story from first run.
Also for each of those 6 One Bid Prizes & 2 Showcases, I would have guessed the following. Model Train Set: $1,675 Chair & Ottoman: $1,000 Video Camera: $1,300 Electric Guitar: $550 Washer & Dryer: $1,170 Brass Telescope: $1,880 1st Showcase: $18,000 2nd Showcase: $12,000
Seems like a "catch 22" that the contestant who won $5,000 in bonus spin didn't make it to the showcase. I know there are other bonus spins & spin-offs where this has happened before
