Because this show isn't owned by Entercom (The new owners of KROQ), they were able to reveal the real reason Ralph Garman was let go. More background found here, www.hollywoodreporter.com/new... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_G...
Ralph Garmin is a freakin national treasure. He's kind to people, and he's absolutely hilarious. This is the beginning of the end for the Kevin and Bean show. Their show was never that great, but Ralph Garmin made it sooooo much better. I hope Ralph ends up finding a great gig to follow this and much happiness to come.
Alarmed Gibbon I totally agree.Ralph was the driving force for me even tuning in..sadly I will slowly yet surely stop listening to Kevin and bean...most the bits &subjects I related to came from his mind..Not to mention his improvisation skill of GENIUS!!!
Entercom probably wants to get rid of the show and getting rid of Ralph will mean a decline in ratings thus giving them an out to cancel the show. Depends on whatever clause is in the contract they have.
Liked the show when Ralph was there. Bean annoys me by exhaling through his nose into his mic ever time after he speaks. Once you notice it, you can never go back.
Are we really surprise ? They should of all pull together and bought the dam station themselves company's can careless how many years 10 or 30yrs a lifetime devoted it doesn't matter because at the end of the day the don't see you as person ...... They only see numbers !!!!
Absolutely agree, but I think that for all Kevin and Bean's (presumably) millions of dollars, they wouldn't come anywhere close to the hundreds of millions or billions that corporations play around/wield their powers with.
Does this sounds weird to any one? 'K&B wants to move on and be done with the show, management talks them into stay for few more years but have to take massive pay cut'. Who takes this kind deal to stay at job you don't want to do anymore with lower pay??
