I have to watch the wind when I burn ,it used to be all farms around me, they built a development behind the house across the road,i had a few of these people stop and tell me about the smell of burning and all their allergies, the main complaint was when I cleaned my pig and cattle barns, i had animals way before those houses were even though of, The way I look at it is if you don't want farm smell stay in the city

Lots of noodles for sure. I’d take a page out of Dude Ranch DIY’s channel. He found an old 275 gallon fuel oil tank and cut it in half the long way to make 2 large flatter burn barrels. When he’s out working in his woodyard he starts a fire in one and throws his noodles that slash/trash in and burns it up. Fire is contained and it seems like a great way to get rid of the scrap that he produces.

Scheib, loved the video but where I live in Virginia if we burned ground clutter like you did the Fire Department and Police Department would have been sent out. The F.D. would put the fire out while P.D. would be writing violations like crazy. Keep up the great work and have a cold one on me.

Try a leaf blower. handhelds work great for starting brush fires.

I've found the best way ( for me) to burn the noodles. Is to pile half my firepit with it, then start a good hot fire on the opposite side, and let my fire work it's way into the noodles. Eventually it gets itself hot enough I can throw more and more on. You definitely had some clean up to play with, now to get you stocked up again for next season 💪 cheers brother

I agree it’s been a very mild winter so far we’re over right by Pittsburgh so we kinda get similar weather I think

I have found that when i burn "noodles" its best to keep them in a thin pile. But it is great fire starter for those summer campfires!

To be honest, this time of year I would have pulled out my lawn mower and just mulched that. Picked out any sticks and slash and just cut/blew it thin. It all looked fine enough. No sticks or chunks that i could tell on the screen anyway. We’re 4-6 weeks from spring! Good video Scheib!

Nicely done Don, bet you’re glad to get rid of the sycamore, it does have a nice grain when using it in making bowls.yard cleanup always look better after the noodling. Think it’s time for an adult beverage. Cheers my friend.

Nice job cleaning up. I'm sure your yard will appreciate the potash from the burn pile. Try not to drop a nut from moving those rounds lol.

Occasionally I'll direct an old blower from a sandblast cabinet into one of several holes in a 55 gal drum to make a super burn barrel. Gets rid of a lot of sawdust and noodles sometimes drain oil.

Hey shy, is it possible you might be able to on your next video show us what the inside of the honey Locust looks like with coloration and maybe even some of the bark. I have this mystery tree in my woodyard that I’ve been trying to find out what it is and I’m curious as to, whether or not it’s honey Locust
