Oh wow, this looks like a wholesome anime where nothing bad happens to the main character, can't wait to see future developments.

Some complained that they imagined her voice deeper, but this voice is perfect for what her character actually is. She's from line one to Denki clearly an emotionally manipulative person that messes with your head not an outright dommy mommy.

*Spoiler:* I don't know why some people wanted her voice to be deeper and more intimidating; the whole point is that she's a narcissistic emotional manipulator. Being soft-spoken and disarming like this is exactly what she should be, and makes her much more sinister. If she _sounded_ like the kind of person that was capable of horribly betraying you, it wouldn't work. Manipulators and abusers of every sort rely on that perception.

Me thinking Makima was a really nice person only to find out the truth. Well she became my favorite even more after I found out the truth.

For denji, he is a man who has never had a human relationship. Not once has he ever felt the gratitude of another human being. I know people think that denji is stupid for engaging with her at all, but from denji's perspective, he simply doesn't know. We say that Makima is a bunch of red flags, but Denji isn't even aware of the concept of red flags.

I had my doubts at first after the first episode if they could keep up the insane level of animation but now I can confidently say that this level of animation throughout the entire show (not even just the fights) should be the new standard for anime
