Woohoto tripod mount looks like a pretty amazing quality when you opened it up it looked nice and heavy you said it was powder coated in black fits many many different tripods great review
Hey Jeff! This is really good quality and feel for a smartphone mount! Much better than the one that came with my selfie stick tripod. I'm counting on it to last me a good number of years and give me some flexibility in use as well. As I get more gadgets and goodies I will test it out more. Maybe make an updated video with all the extra goodies down the road! :)
Awesome! I always try to make detailed reviews and answer the questions before they are asked so whoever is considering buying the product can make an informed decision! Glad to have you here and look forward to interacting with you again on future videos! Cheers! :)
Hey Kaygee!! Looks like you made a great purchase for your channel. Loved this through review and the face that you did a comparison showed what a great product this is! Great stuff!
Thanks, I am making this little series for all of us doing RU-vid so it sparks the imagination a bit. I am learning as I go. Whatever I'm getting I am breaking it down so you can see the advantages of each item. This one gives quite a bit of flexibility and ability to use on a lot of different tripods and you can put a lot of add ons too! Also I expect it to last a long time with the build quality! I have a few more products to do and then maybe once I experiment a bit I will show my different setups for filming with the tools I have! Exciting times!
The cold shoe mount is key for any of these type of accessories. I agree about it being full metal because you can buy it less expensive and it is made of plastic but it doesn't last as long. Like how it holds the phone horizontal and vertical. Some attachments don't do that.
Fully agree with you. All of these features are reasons why I bought this mount and so far I love it! Appreciate your support and glad you found the video useful! Cheers! :)
Howdy! The tripod is fairly lightweight. Because it is a selfie stick and a tripod in one it only has a small tripod base versus a proper tripod that starts from the top to bottom giving it a wider base. So if you're filming indoors shouldn't matter but if you're filming outdoors and are worried about wind knocking it over then you might want to look into a proper tripod. and not a combination one. I have done a full review on my selfie stick tripod. It is the Ubeesize selfie stick and tripod. Check the description box or just go to my channel home page and it's one of my more recent reviews! :) Cheers!
Thanks, I took my time to find some good background music so glad you noticed! Tried to give another through review as usual! This is a good quality smartphone mount for sure! Cheers! :)
Thanks so much for this wonderful comment! This is exactly why I made the review so others who make RU-vid videos can get ideas and know if this will be helpful to them as well! I also have a video about my LED Video light which you see in this video closer to the end. I have a review on my video light, link is in the description box below this video or just go to my main channel page and it is my last review before this one! The lighting I bought is very good and bright. It is also very compact and good for taking with you travelling. Go have a look, maybe it is something you might want for yourself! Sending lots of love! :)
Thanks brother! You're right, I am looking forward to exploring the variations I can use on this little gadget! I might make an updated video in the future once I figure out an ideal setup using this thing! :)
Wooohoooo what a great WOOOHOTO METAL PHONE TRIPOD you’ve got. I like the adjustable lock that is very suitable for any phones. Great review as always! Did you shoot in your apartment? I was looking for chef pops food but I don’t see any 🤪 Hand prints of chef pops.
WOOOO HOOOOOO TO YOU! :D Glad you enjoyed the review! Yes I shot that video in my apartment. That kitchen gets used by Chef Pops but that is like a storage kitchen lol! He chops up and keeps additional food and puts it in the fridge or freezer, then he comes over and takes stuff as he needs it lol! But the cooking is usually done in my parents kitchen as you know! We will cook at my place occasionally but truly cooking at my place is like my parents taking a trip to a cottage or something lol! Once in a while. I also need to add some photos and things to my walls as it's just plain right now. I never got around to really spicing up the place as I spend most of my time helping out with the folks! You know how it goes! But my place is still pretty nice... and Chef Pops hand prints are there, he just cleans up nicely! :D
That looks like a very durable cell phone holder. It definitely seems very strong like how you described & sure is very handy for all video creators who use many different equipments at once. Great review as always. And yes, your LED light did make your video look very bright & crisp. Thank you so much for sharing your insights. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
For sure a solid build quality phone holder. For all of us RU-vidrs who ever film with a phone, this is a must have. As you upgrade your equipment you can just use this as the base to add more and more goodies onto it! I didn't use the LED light to film this video as I was using natural daylight which was making the video bright. If you see, I actually put the LED light on the phone mount so there was no use of that light for filming this video. I did however use it for the Shrimp Masala video so hopefully your noticed it there. I also used it for the thumbnail on this video so for sure it's being used regularly!
Kaygee79 yes, I did notice the light in your Shrimp video. But if this video is lighted up by natural light, then I must say you have a great natural lighting which has so uniformly lighted the show.
Richie and Vanessa! This is a flexible use smartphone mount. I will get more goodies over time to use with it and since it is heavy duty I expect it to last a long time! I might make an updated video in the future with all my various setups once I fine tune them via experimentation! But right now building up the tools! I'm hoping this is helpful for all of us RU-vidrs and maybe you two might also pick up some ideas watching these videos. I know it's not for everyone but for all of us this is interesting stuff lol! It really can give you ideas of different ways to film!
Yes if the specs are the same then for sure it is a good quality cell phone holder to get. I use it anytime I film with my phone and it is great quality. I think they keep changing the name of the company that makes this but they end up being the same product. So as long as the specifications are the same then it is a good product for sure! Cheers! :)
In the video I use a S8+ and it fits in with lots of room to spare. On the mount it says 2.4 inches to 3.7 inches so based off that I would assume it would work. You can always e-mail the seller from who you are planning to purchase to verify. My review is not as a seller but as someone who bought it and my experience using it. Hope that helps! :)
At 1:20 of the video there is reference to the Metal Phone Clamp which says it is. 2.4" and can be extended to 3.7" which is compatible with most mobile phones. So if the width of your Note 10 Plus fits in this range it should work. Cheers! :)
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the review! I think Woohot is the same thing as Woohoto. I have seen reviews on the Woohot and it looks like the exact same thing except the name is different. Maybe for legal reasons they use different names in different places. I am just guessing but it sure is strange! :D Thanks for your interesting question!
This looks a great product! One question please...I entered "Arnarkok" phone mount in the search box and this video came up. Are they identical, just different names? Thanks.
Never heard of that before. This review is specifically for the Woohoto one. If I were you I would try to find a specific review on the one you mentioned. This particular phone mount that I made the video on is excellent quality and so far it works great. No complaints from me!
@@duckshaker Awesome, glad you hear you got the right product. This is a heavy duty phone mount and it is working great for me to date and I am pretty sure it will continue to do so! Happy to hear my review helped you make an informed decision! Enjoy your one as well! :)
Of course! Ordered, but will be returning as it isn't the same design, no lock , no instructions , the ball joint the turn knob isn't flat and doesn't fold up as well for travelling. It seems that in 2022, the Arnarkok is closer to the woohoto featured in Yr review, except no magnetic plate to insert for desk stability and no ball head
@@kahlospirit24 I hope you find one similar to the one I reviewed. I guess the types change over the years, but maybe they still have this one somewhere! I still use mine regularly when filming with the phone or even when I take photos etc. The one I have is great quality.

Hi Kaygee, can you tell me if my iPhone 8 Plus will fit on this mount? Cheers
@ The clamp will hold the phone on the shortest length which you have stated is 8.5cm. If you convert it to inches that is about 3.35 inches. The phone mount says it holds up to 3.7 inches so that means your phone should work even with the case on it. Hope that helps! Cheers! :)
Thanks for coming by, watching and leaving a comment! I went and watched your review. You had a back and forth conversation which I enjoyed and thought was a cool way to talk about the product! I really do enjoy using this thing, it has served me well so far! :)
This is sold on Amazon so if there is Amazon there or something similar maybe you can find it. It's really nice quality so worth it for us people who film for RU-vid! :) Cheers! :)
Amazing! Thanks so much for your support and for watching! I have made it to help others who want to film on RU-vid and to help everyone! I have a few videos, also for the tripod and the lighting as well. Feel free to watch the others as well! Sending lots of Love! :)
Yes, that shoe is good for putting on a mic, or light or whatever additional accessory you have for your smartphone! Glad you came by and watched the review!
Lol Gabby, thanks for that confirmation! It's a pretty cool little phone holder gadget isn't it? I might have to eventually buy add on accessories and try them out and then once I find an optimal setup then I'll make an updated video at that time showing the results! :)
