I was so sad that you didn't continue youtubing after your advent series, so yay! for this episode! I love listening to another crazy wool lady rambling about different wools and processing them. Me happy!
What an inspiration you are, thank you. I follow your Insta account also and although at this time I am not a spinner , I find it fascinating and love listening about it. 👏👏 I showed lambs growing up and am now a knitter and everything about wool is fascinating. So thank you, thank you for the awesome content and wishing you continued happiness and success.
Loved having you for company during my car oil change 😂 I can’t believe I missed the first club sign up. I set an alarm for the next one. You totally nailed your first “podcast-y” podcast 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Loved this episode! I do most of yarny things through RU-vid, I'm not much on Instagram, but I missed the Melly knits content! Congrats on the 'first' episode ❤ I love the idea of a fiber subscription, that is amazing!
Ok good to know! I kept asking myself why I would pop over here when I always have so much I’m saying on insta - this comment is helpful to my “why”. Thank you for sharing your thoughts ❤❤
What’s your fav?! Maybe I need to explore this world better, I’d love to know who you enjoy watching on here and I’ll sit with my knitting and see if it sticks for me too :)
@@mellyknits Some faves are: Andrea Mowry’s (I watch every Friday as soon as it comes out) Youngfolk Knits Knitting a Good Yarn Podcast Rachel Smith (woolnspinning) Well and yours of course now that it’s a thing again! Some are really long but I just love to have them playing in the background while I’m doing other things!
Loved the podcast and the origin story. I adore behind the scenes stuff. What was the first big thing you invested in equipment wise? That had to be scary not knowing if it would work and probably not exactly sure what to get.
The biggest thing was Big Homie, he’s a Brother Supercard XL and we are in Canada so the exchange rate and freight/import fees was a KILLER. No regrets but yes I was so scared 😂 Aaron not at all, he was the one who had to buy it I was too chicken. We had two carders before that and they both also felt big, but this felt like, legit-big.
I’m legitimately tempted to open a branch of sommelier that we call this, for reels. No explainations, only the one who saw this RU-vid will know hahaha
