I’m pretty sure the remains of the concrete launching pads are still there, I remember seeing them going to Evetts Field, an airfield about 40 kms from Woomera. The road wasn’t open to the general public, but I had some business out there.

Ha! The Blue Streak - a British designed and built rocket originally intended to be an ICBM delivering a nuclear warhead, then proposed to carry a European satellite into orbit. Cancelled because it was a dud, like the TSR-2. The only part that worked properly was the rocket motor, built by Rolls Royce under license and in accordance with drawings and specifications purchased from an American company, Rocketdyne. Tested at Woomera because it was too dangerous to try out in Britain.

Weapon was an IRBM, Most of the Tech was American, Engines were a US Design, Airframe was based on Atlas. Missile was static fired in the UK at Spadeadam. You cannot actually launch anything out of the UK except directly north. TSR2 was a dud!!! Blue Streak actually did work, it was the other bits of Europa that didn't.
