Thank you for the great review and walkthrough! Two quick notes: you can increase the 3D quality in Settings by setting 'Auto Detail' OFF and the Map Quality to High manually. Also you can drop a 360 Pin anywhere you want on the map (it's below your hand menu) to load a street view. You're not limited to the pins saved by other users on the map. Cheers!

Thanks for the video. This helped me make the decision to buy Wooorld. Time spent up front, reading and practicing the tutorial on the controls was valuable before attempting to go places. The developers have created an excellent product. Wooorld is going to be one of my new favorite experiences on the Quest 3 that I got a couple days ago. A good complement to Wander. So nice to now have a Google Earth type experience in VR / MR !

Was going to get it until I heard about the internet connection. I love games like these and was big on Wonder VR, but over the last few months it seems like it’ll only let me load the game up and travel around for 5 minutes max before it freezes up completely. What I mean by that is i can still click buttons and navigate the menu, but when it comes to clicking on a new location, it stays frozen. I don’t have bad internet connection and never run into any issues with other VR games/apps. Sucks because these VR map apps are my favorite part of virtual reality.

Wander doesn't have any 3D rendering, just top down world maps & streetview

I tried it when it was first released, and I didn't understand the point of it. Trying to turn Google Earth VR into a game? Do people actually want that? I am sure I am in the majority who just want Google Earth VR but without the need for a high end gaming computer to run it from. I would be happy to pay for that, but not this Wooorld thing, so I got a refund. I am lucky enough to have a computer that's good enough to run Google Earth VR, and it's the app I use most of all. But it would be great if I didn't have the hassle of needing both devices running at the same time. So I very much recommend Google Earth VR, but Wooorld is not anything like an adequate replacement. I also have Wander, which is far better than Wooorld, but not as good as Google Earth VR.

and most importantly, the 3D map is not from Google, but from Microsoft, so most of the 3D buildings and cities are missing. Nechal jsem si vrátit peníze. I had my money refunded.

@@zippermoomintoog5654It's not the same because it doesn't use 3d google maps but bing (!) So there are only a few cities in 3d, if I had known that, I wouldn't have bought it. Very disappointed. And the limited area is very disruptive. The feeling like with google maps is gone...
