Sure but for most of the wol’s fights, it’s not stated that anybody is helping him, only when it is shown or said that other people will be summoned or gathered to help can it be assumed that it is the case, so most of the fights in the game are won by the wol alone

@@swalkeeatake3350 though that’s debatable (given the recent updates on ARR and HW), ever since Hades’ trial, the WoL has never taken on the stronger enemies on his/her own.

NPCs aren't bound by player class restrictions. Anything they've learned they can do. That's why Thancred can shukuchi as GNB, and Urianger can aetherial manipulate as AST.

@@RockR277 oh I know, but disciplines of magic ARE bound by what they teach, Y'shtola has just branched into two disciplines that gives her the knowledge and lore reasons as to how she can weave all the elements together for spells ^^ I just think it's cool especially cause the only person to do that before was Louisoix

The new Duty Support stuff for the 2.x and early Heavensward dungeons allow Alphinaud to Arcanist-DPS if you go healer, as well, so that's another character we finally see outside the one role we're used to them playing. (also, for those wondering, if you go tank in Fell Court of Troia, Varshahn switches from Paladin to... surprise surprise... *Dragoon.*

did it on BLM it was fine

I did it on BLM and good gods I used triplecast on cooldown.

Even without that, it's straight silly for us to even feel slightly worried about most anything else at this point.

@@woops Is it? The WoL isn't deathless and the archfiends fed on Azdaja for at least 8,000 years. Plus, you just learned that the WoL can't kill anything from the Void on their own. And given their track record with every major or final boss, its even sillier to think that the WoL is invincible. They've been aided and straight up bailed out with every single one; and now you're dependent on Zero who can permanently put voidsent down. Like with both Scarmiglione and Barbarrichia: how was that kill stealing when you were never going to keep either of them down?

Yeah, we are strong but can still be killed. Hell, we actually almost died after Zenos because of us expending so much of our strength.

Voidsent just don't want to work these days

Very good point. I just wish the story could go in a direction of making an enemy/threat that would actually sensibly make me (WoL) ACTUALLY be worried that something could harm me.

I will admit, Barb's phase 2 definitely made me feel threatened. Especially when my party members started dropping.

@@jaydenb192 I don’t think so as the ancients are able to see the quantity and hue of our ether. Not to mention in the void it seems that no one cares about the other side of the gate as it’s like going from hard mode to ultra death mode where you only get one life. The blessing is essentially plot armour and the Ecco is used for extrapolating context.

I’m a little curious why the Zodiark design was modified though. Like having 6 arms where the artwork doesn’t.

i doubt golbez will be the final boss, maybe something like zemus or zeromus Maybe void form zero is zeromus?

@@Sneedmeister with the current pacing it seems like they're going to tackle the entire current plotline through the endwalker patches so next expac will probably be something completely different. Maybe saving Azdaja will lead into finally going to Meracydia.

We had help with nidhogg, and endsinger especially. These fiends have also been gathering power for several thousand years and can't be killed normally.

Eating other voidsents means getting stronger but combining both escences, your own escence can end up lost so she doesnt like doing it much
