Yep my old stomping grounds. I remember all the places he told about. Had some really great times back then. Good times cruising down thru town on Friday and Saturdays and meeting up with the girls then heading out to the gravel pits to party afterwards! When I remember home I think of these times! It really was a great place in the late sixties thru the seventies. We all had a blast.

I’ve purchased and read both books. I highly recommend them! Thank you for putting it all together for our collective memories! There’s something special about the place where a person grows up.

I was born in Wooster in 2000's, when it was honestly decently dilapidated and overrun with drugs in my early childhood. I visit family there, and it has since been cleaned up and business seems to be doing well. I do miss some of the old small businesses Wooster used to have though! I actually cling to Hartzler's, The Green Leaf, Buehler's, Coccia House, Acres of Fun, Skateland, Wayne Lanes & Triway Lanes for nostalgia! Not to mention, the annual county fair is one of the best around!!

NE Ohio was a great place to be a teenager in the 70s. I'm from the Mahoning/Trumbull county area originally. The music seen was the best.

Weird to see. I grew up in Wooster and Shreve, but I was born in 87. It's strange seeing things that are closer to what I remember as a kid but still off.
