I definitely notice the difference in movements compared to my old HyperX keyboard but it’s more of a quality of life type of thing for sure. You can perform at a high level with just a basic gaming keyboard but the wooting is nice, just gotta justify the wait time/price
Plat 2 and I notice the difference. But I’m coming from csgo surf/bhop. I think lower elo players will notice it for sure. But making good use of it is a different story.
To me it's sort of like going to a 144hz+ monitor. At that point, you definitely can't blame your monitor. The wooting is kind of the same thing. Not nearly as necessary as 144hz monitors, but once you have a wooting, you can't blame the hardware anymore. You know you have one of the lowest latency keyboards with all the advantageous features. 144hz or a wooting aren't necessary to do well, but they can help once you've reached a certain skill level
@@laurinegerer been a while now, but I think around a month or so if I'm remembering right. I'm not sure if their shipping has gotten quicker in the past year
My god month half for standard shipping and just under 2 months for Air Freight. LOL i have 2 anne pro keyboards and I really question if I need this to climb in games. I noticed at the end of the video u said 0.5 actuation. Is it hard to get use to the 0.1 ms they offer? Dope video. I might buy it but jesus im impatient lol.
Doesn't seem to be a big issue anymore, I just ordered last night (3/15) and it says I'm estimated to receive it before the end of this month. My keyboard is too large so this is an upgrade for me in more than one way, as well as the 4-year warranty. This seems worth it to me rather than getting some gaming keyboard for $75+ that will feel mediocre at best and be a worse keyboard.
I was debating on getting this keyboard but after this review, I am sold. Also, I noticed you're not using the Artisan Hien? What mousepad are you currently using?
Thanks for the review. As a note, letting go of a key and having your character stop isn't counter-strafing. Counter-strafing is pressing the opposite key to immediately cancel out your momentum in a given direction. This keyboard's design helps with counter-strafing, but not in the way you described.
I am aware. Counter-strafing is not necessary in Valorant because in Valorant when you let go of a movement key your character will stop instantly as there is no momentum like there is in Counter-Strike. Notable players such as Demon1 don't counter-strafe at all for this reason, he simply lets go of his movement key and shoots. In instances like this, rapid trigger makes a huge difference.
I’m pretty sure rapid trigger/continuous rapid trigger is the setting where you can have your counter strafe at 0.1 mm which is the whole point of the wooting
@@Osteadyz continuous rapid trigger is something else: when u have the key triggered. if u go up, the key stops being pressed at ur actuation point. rapid trigger however is what u said, the whole point of wooting.
Thanks for the video this keyboard is insane. But for some reason I cant set the Sens to 0.1mm only to 0.15 dont know how much of a difference that makes but weird.
@@StriaghtRightTo prevent errors in the form of accidental/double presses. On the other hand steelseries offers it and if you set it to 0.1mm you'll almost instantly find about 30 keypresses being registered for what should be 3...
