Here is a new fan I wanted to get for weeks and I decided to buy it after finding a gift card I got during Christmas. This fan was bought at Costco and new for this year, the box color is different and the controls on the base are touch sensitive instead of pressing them. I have this exact one. I love mine but I have ANC headphones so can barely hear it. Which is a good thing because the first speed is basically useless even if you're close. The second speed is better but not great if you're in a hot environment. If your temp is much above 80, you'll probably want speed level 3 at least and it's much louder on that level. It puts out nice air but is noisy. Not sure if it will last 5 years but if it does, it's worth the price. The battery warning seems a little silly. Those little coin cell batteries are in everything and I have never had any safety problems with them in 50 years of living. I have had problems finding them for a reasonable price and I have had problems with them not lasting very long though.

I usually use mine at level 3 and sometimes 2 if it's cooler and the price at Costco is a deal I thought compared to other stores for the same fan.
