The best thing about the Worchester is that it's a real ship. Got it mostly for that reason, but was pleasantly surprised by how strong it is as welll!😅

Worcester was my first T10 ship. I love the entire USN CL line, and the Worcester tops them all. Since the AA nerf I've been taking the seconday/AA mod in slot 6 and it helps a lot. IFHE is mandatory I think. Still love to play her.

Yes, both lines are great! Just the t9s Seattle and Buffalo are a bit rough, considering you come from two great T8s like Cleveland and Baltimore.

Seattle was an absolute slog for me. Absolutely love my Cleveland. I think it’s my best ship, statistically, both now and when it was T6. I love that Buffalo too.

@@mikkodoria4778 Its not really a hypocrite. He points out the strength of the worchester. The exact things that makes life hard for BBs. I dont think he ever said that its brilliant game design. Its just a fair recommendation and assesment of the worchester in the current state of the game^^

He said in an earlier video that he’s kind’of at the point where he can complain and complain and complain all he wants about HE spamming ships like Thunderer’s and all about broken CV’s, and that nothing is going to be done about them, so instead of complaining, he might as well try them out himself. A couple episodes ago he made mention of trying out the new carrier line that’s coming out. I don’t blame him, more influential channels before his rise to glory had been doing the same thing, and what did that get them? Nada.

Yesterday, I was in Vermont and 1v1 against a Wooster around 6km. A perfect broadside shot, 2 pen, 9 overpen, no citadel at all. This ship is ridiculous.

Got Worcester the other day and she's one of my favorite ships. Excellent firepower, a lot of utility, and great AA. Worth the grind.

really, it was my first tier 10 and i really enjoyed it, but since i’ve gotten minotaur i just can’t go back, minotaur in my eyes is a straight upgrade in almost every way. edit: i also run radar mino and i find the stealth radar way more useful than worcester’s non stealth radar

Wooster and Minotaur are my favorites, one is great at just scorching anything, other is an amazing DD ambusher (using radar build). but CVs and their constant spotting made gameplay with them unfun as everytime you get spotted you will expect a crapload of cross map salvos from battleships at 20km forcing you to move or you get deleted.

I don’t have IFHE on mine because I like to run Radio location for DD hunting. Also run extra HP and extra heal. Worcester later around is just so strong for the ability for hunting DDs and playing against CV.

What I hate most playing as a BB? Fires. That's it, that's why my Worcester don't have IFHE. To annoy BBs as hell

As a recent FdG owner, I question why BBs still exist even. The only reason I can fathom is because CLs and DD need stuff to set on fire or flood :| It was pretty bad in the Bismarck but now it's even worse and it's making me question what am I even working towards. If it's this bad on the FdG, the Kurfurst is probably a nightmare of just constant fires.....

@@vtr0104 I hated FDG (its trash ship no matter how many people gonna say otherwise) ...but GK is pretty damn strong especially if you can push - so more useful in smaller format like Brawl (3vs3) and Ranked 7vs7. In 12 vs 12 its still good if you can wait with push or actually intercept enemy push if it happens. Just gotta be more patient. GK really is not like FDG - doesnt need ifhe (minimum 128mm secondary) and 12 guns ... so more reliable than 8. Problem of FDG is that it ... needs to show broadside to unload its pathetic 8 gun salvo. And takes massive damage - when GK does the same pain is guarantee. Not to mention GK secondaries just do way better job. FDG biggest issue is that pushing can be done - but ship won't reward you.

Yea, BBs are pointless anymore. Its all about DPM and torps. Only play BBs if you have been bad lately and just eant to be punished.i used to love playing BBs. They are in my docks museum now.

This game is an excellent example of farming over winning. Multiple times you decided to not shoot a DD and farm an easy BB instead.

I love US cruisers but I failed with the Worcester. I'm re-grinding the line now (up to the tier 7 now) in hopes of being a better captain by the time I get back to her.

I've had exactly a problem with this ship and mino for example, that how long it takes for these shells to reach it's destination with a long range targets..

I go back and forth between RPF and IFHE on this ship. With subs, RPF can be real strong and you can still get by setting a lot of fires.

When doing the build for my Worcester, I was and can be at times figuring out the build that works for me. RPF is a strong pick and so is IFHE. I have settled with an IFHE/full utility build.

I also love the Wuhster. I recently had a driveby with a Stalingrad. Yes, he nuked me with one salvo but I sank him with 9 citadels. What about the legendary module? I took it instead of Superintendent. Even more duration on radar and hydro.

so far my best Cruiser in any battle is Graf Spee. Good speed, good guns, secondaries are okay, and torps are awesome

I've had a love-hate relationship with this ship for a long time. I tend to play in a manner that does not lend itself to survival in a light cruiser(I blame that on my first BB being the Kurfurst, I'm a close quarters brawler at heart), but would occasionally get some good results. Recently finishing the grind for the Halsey campaign, I spent a lot of time playing nothing but this and the DM. On the plus side, my DM now has a 21 point commander. And I have learned a bit about surviving longer and getting more damage in these ships. In a match recently I managed to get an Arsonist and Witherer in the same battle, both ones that I hadn't gotten in a while. Moving more in the direction of a pure love relationship with this ship now.

Surviving to the end is often the key to success in a cruiser (or DD). However expect less-smart players to complain if you're not being "aggressive enough"

@@EvoraGT430 That has always been something I've struggled with. Some of my best games ever have been incredibly annoying "hide behind the island" nonsense with minimal damage, but especially in a radar cruiser getting crazy spotting damage numbers. Especially at the A cap on the Greece map. I also get into these situations with the more easily spotted DD's, always hard to stay out of caps especially if there are only 1 or 2 DD's on the team, and maybe not having good guns you don't want to just go in and get radared or outgunned by gunship DD's, so in things like my Asashio I'll just go wide and spam torps at BB's all match... Again, lots of complaints of not doing anything, and I'm not getting caps(at least early on), but I get good torp damage and spotting damage numbers in the matches and tend to be at the top of the score board. The psychological game of not pushing in to a hazardous situation for no reason is my real challenge.

I enjoy my Worcester... trouble is that I haven't "figured her out" yet....... I don't have good games in her. I always find myself in a bad position somehow.... thinking I am covered behind an island then I get blapped from across the map... I struggle with guaging how close I need to be to an island to shoot over it and not get hit in return... my judgement seems to be pretty bad there. Still... it is a fun boat and I do enjoy it!

I see this in-game a lot. Bad player gets angry/accusative because he does not understand why you didn't do something. There are levels to this shit I guess. Most bad players would have jumped on that opportunity to take out a dd, and got themselves killed in the process.

Well, you don't recommend playing CVs, but you recommend playing a cruiser that effortlessly melts anything while sitting behind islands, thus no need to risk the ship and no real method of counterplay for those BBs that are being burnt to the ground?
