Excuse me, what processes do you think are involved in creating "Tikbait"? It's a blend of clickbait and Tiktok, but it also can be formed by folk etymology of "clickbait".

Hello, concerning clipping the "Compound Clipping " in the word "sitcom" is it the same as Blending because in blending the beginning of two words can be combined such as cybernetic + organism = cyborg so what is the difference between them. Thank you in Advance.
@RubyroseBaldovino
@RubyroseBaldovino 3 года назад
Hi! Clipping creates a new word with the same meaning, whereas, blending creates a new word in which the meaning is often based on the words combined 😊

Ano po pinagkaiba ng derivation and affixation?
@lorrainenickhylabadan8743
@lorrainenickhylabadan8743 3 года назад
Hi, I have an upcoming report about Words Formation Process. What is affixation po and have examples po, thank you pooo!
@RubyroseBaldovino
@RubyroseBaldovino 3 года назад
Affixation is from the word 'affix', which means 'to add'. Affixes can be added before words and they can be added after words. Affixes that are added before a word are called prefixes. Those that are added after a word are called suffixes. For instance the word ‘encouragement’ is formed from the root word ‘courage’ by the prefix ‘en’ and the suffix 'ment'

@RubyroseBaldovino
@RubyroseBaldovino 3 года назад
An eponym refers to a word that comes from a proper name of a person or place. It can be based on both real or fictional people and places. For example, Caesar Salad is named after Caesar Cardini, the one who created it. Achilles heel- from a Greek mythological character Watt (unit of electricity) from it's developer, James Watt.
