If anyone else was playing Xie'er, then I don't think they would have the same impact. We'd feel differently about him.
It's hilarious how Ah'Xian calls herself the unstable sibling and tells Chengling to the get it together as it truly is how they are in this drama: chaotic sibling and less chaotic sibling. All these scenes were on point, especially the serotonin one, who wouldn't get a shot of it seeing ZZH smiling!

It’s easy to feel sorry for someone when you realise they were groomed to be a murderer since childhood and lived under a near constant cloud of emotional and physical abuse from the one person he loved and trusted. Doesn’t excuse the murder but then again murder is more of a casual hobby in this world
