Wow this sounds like a perfect balance of helping people, problem solving/critical thinking, communicating, planning/organizing, and independence... I'm really considering this career!!
This was a great watch, and great to see the tasks of APs in other settings! If possible, i’d love to see a video on therapy in a bit more depth! My previous role was in stroke/brain injury but it was a service that was purely assessment based, and in my new role I will eventually start working more therapeutically with patients which i’m currently feeling a bit nervous about! It would be great to see a video that goes in to it a bit more, especially CBT, and if you recommend any helpful resources :)
I’m glad you enjoyed!! Yes I would be happy to speak more about therapeutic work. It’s just tricky because I don’t want to relay incorrect information to people haha maybe I’ll do a video on resources for therapy
This is a really useful video to see what you get up to and how you structure your day! Thanks Sharon 😊 I always love watching your vlogs. Also, side note, your videos look so professional atm the shooting and editing it really on point girl!
Really liked you getting into details about evary task you were doing, feeling more connected :) You're a BusyB :D I wonder how the AP work differs from ClinPsy's, as you already have e.g. sessions with ?
Thanks for watching!! Haha I am a busyb indeed! Clinical Psychologists are involved in leadership/business bits, they also have sessions with clients who wouldn’t be appropriate for me or a trainee.
