Garden looking wonderful! Can’t wait to see what color the Clematis is.

I think it will be a pale colour looking at the colour of the bud. It should be quite large?

That huge pod is from invasion of the body snatchers! Don’t go to sleep. Haha After watching that movie as a young child I was always on the lookout for one of those pods... like in the basement behind the stairs.

A strange film that one.

Garden looks great as usual! The seedlings that might be foxgloves, might also be sunflowers. At least the ones growing in my pot right now, look very similar. Though I have to say, they look weird - but I know I planted sunflowers. That seed pod looks... wow! I bought a white buddleja a week ago. Saw a couple of small whites, and red admirals, fly past but not land. So far just a few moths on it, as soon as it gets dark, which in return attract our local bats. I should probably try to install my camera there and just let it record for the 30 minutes, that it'll go in one session. Mojo looks so cozy out on the deck.

Because they are clustered together and not anywhere else, they must be something that has grown in my garden so Foxgloves is the answer I think.

Your garden is looking beautiful Roger. Your red Crocosmia may be the variety called "Lucifer". We can grow Crocosmia in Kentucky where I live, but we consider it a tender perennial. Sometimes the corms rot if we have a really cold and wet winter. Happy gardening from the US, James

Thanks - Crocosmia is always left in the ground here in the UK - I think it survives ok.

Hi Roger, 1:19 - I may be wrong, but those plants look more like either Aster(s) or Golden Rod than Phlox. 8:10, yes, I think those are foxglove seedlings.12:08 classic wasp shape, I would say it's a wasp of some type. Did you notice the flower spider looking for its next meal? We say Ah-kill-ee-ah here in the US - Achillea.

But I was given Phlox and Michaelmas Daisies so they can only be those. Time will tell which is which.

@@RogersGardenandBonsai I'll lay odds on the Michaelmas Daisies. :)
