I disagree with the title. If you work "in silence" that just means that you are probably doing stuff terribly wrong and you never find out. Nor are you helping others, who are making mistakes that you have figured out. And letting your success be your noise is just blatant arrogance and egoism. Your noise should be your process, something that's useful to others and that's not just bragging.

That's mostly because of overlapping fatigue. You're still recovering from the last day, decreasing your performance. But that doesn't mean that you become weaker in general. It's perfectly fine to perform less and less over days or weeks, it doesn't mean your progress stopped. That said, doing them daily might not be optimal for you. You can try every other day or two times a week, etc.
