Religion is a dialogue between those in power and those who follow a set of beliefs outside of traditional political claims. As such, religions that do not belong to a mainstream set of beliefs tend to be reduced to a set of actions to follow in order to maintain cultural heritage. however, Asian religions such as Hinduism carry in them political notions of trust, environmentalism, conflict resolution, peace, war, debate, and voting. Therefore, this dance piece explores the dialogue between those who view minority religion as a cache of actions without significant meaning, and those who view minority religion as an assertion of political beliefs. In sum, this piece re:introduces the role of Hinduism in political life to the two dancers/characters on stage.
