I think diesel is the first person to mostly automate the new DLC (also you can use the logic saw on coins if I remember correctly)

You can park your cart-sleigh into the purchase section and put the items you want to buy straight into your sled Then you pay and load your sled into your truck (this is the only vehicle-vehicle interaction that works). Alternatively you can use a pallet or a pan instead of the sled.

Good tip is that your vehicle can fit in almost every shop so back up to what you want and load the truck, which has no collision in the bed, then pull onto the buy platform. Makes it easier to buy lots of stuff with minimal handling of it.

Just a time and labor savings you can move your cutting set up closer to your main line so your left over cuts automatically go back to the belt and you don’t have to carry it back over your self.

What I like to do is with logic saw is have the cut bars drop on top of a furnace. That way they start to heat up straight away.

You should be able drop them back into your bar sorter if you rotate the cutter so the cut bars come out the right, large would be out the back with minimal extra parts. Also keep around a manual smelter around so you can recombine bars when needed without sending them back through the system.

I like your setup, very clean. I set my logic saw to auto-place the source bar back onto the sorting conveyor.

Use your scroll wheel when building if it won't place from a distance. Also affects the rake. I kept reloading because I thought my rake was bugged.

Brave man, I dont like the logic mechanics in this game. I've struggled and struggled to figure out how to do seemingly simple tasks and had to resort to youtube videos to find out how, that to me is a failure. I feel the logic pieces are overly simple or incomplete and you end up making it overly complex and bulky... But its doable if you have patience.

Only things I've found a need for logic for is automating the repair of filters and an on/off switch for the entire thing. Beyond that the logic is superfluous anyway.

Why waste 50 weight on the sorter, you can go down to a 1 then cut it into .5.

Instead of rebuilding in the same place go buy a different claim, the one that has the lava and water next to each other. Then build your advanced system there instead.
