@@11shovel11 The Scout is an enemy in the game that releases tendrils that can cover a large portion of a room. If you or a teammate gets touched by a tendrils, the Scout will alert everyone in the room and call in a new horde. Depending on what enemies come in, this could lead to a large usage of ammo and health at best, or a full team wipe and restart at worst.

Yea, but the game suffers quite heavily from the other things, for example look at Ready or Not, even tho they are different, they share a lot of similarities. No progression, heavy COOP, hidden story and realistic graphics/atmosphere and yet Ready or Not is much more popular while it was supposed to be NICHE game unlike GTFO. The problems are as following: Removing a lot of content every season - enemies, guns, specials, maps and so on. No reason other than to make the game (artificially) feel NEW, was never stated. Bugs Optimization Catering to niche player-base of hardcore gamers and shunning anyone who just wants to enjoy the game solo or with friends. Note Dark Souls is popular, because its hard BUT fair and pretty static, so you can learn. GTFO is random every time, like Ready or Not or Vermintide, but these games are still pretty fair compared to GTFO.

To those truly considering buying and playing solo, be sure first. I regularly play solo with bots. They are great for basic tasks but much of the run is dependent on you grabbing packs before they do and doling out resources intelligently. They will help during fights, never alert during stealth, and make sure you're aware of resources. They can't compare to players (especially with on the fly actions like equipment use) but will get the job done in most cases.

Did the first rundown as a solo with bots... Thought that was super cool that they added bots. Until I got to the ending where all 4 players have to sit in the circle for a while to extract.... Yeah.... Yeah they didn't wanna sit in the circle.... A HALF HOUR OF MY DAY WAS WASTED! Additionally the GTFO discord is fantastic, there's tons of people wanting to play daily... And might I add... There's nothing quite like being with a bunch of randoms, telling funny jokes.... Things get intense.. and the last half of the mission everyone starts screaming at the THICCUMS chasing you.

13:22 you can just type a little bit of the word, press tab and it will auto put the whole sentence you need. Fair warning: Bots are dumb... People in the ingame matching queue that are just trolling in the game. That will shoot and go loud to ruin runs. Fog is literally terrible, so sad and depressing to go through. Glowsticks does nothing. Some levels that don't give you fog repels. Pray for Fog turbines. Balance is hard when you have vetrans, new players and ok players playing the same levels. Don't be upset you can't beat a level. DON'T PICK THE DMR GUN,PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. IF YOUR A MADMAN BY ALL MEANS GO FOR IT.

I'm a year late to this video but to anybody watching and reading today with 8 rundowns to cycle through and determination there is plenty to play solo. I have completed most a level and b level expeditions in my 50 hours so far completely solo utilizing the bots. Especially if you just want to learn the gameplay mechanics and get okay before you find a group or convince friends to play learning and enjoying this game is DEF doable solo.

GTFO is the kind of game I absolutely adore, but that I can never play more than one mission in one sitting. It gives me legitimate anxiety, but for some reason, it’s a good kind. It’s the perfect horror experience. No jumpscares whatsoever. Just tension so thick you could cut it. Because at literally any moment, one of you could fuck up and ruin everything. And it’s TERRIFYING.
