Unreal that you can buy something, have it shipped to you, and never receive it, horrible. Great looking blade, I agree about the choil, and there's hope as they're making V2 versions of knives without the choil, giving a bit more cutting edge, so you never know, haha. I think the choil makes it more aesthetically appealing, but would rather have more blade. The problem companies make when there's no choil, is having so much extra space between the handle and edge, that people say, man, why didn't they put in a choil. Damned if they do, damned if they don't I guess. A bit more handle could have balanced it out a bit more, but with the angle of the grip, maybe the investment was having that weighty front for the chopping power.
