TL;DR; Don'T be scared by the length of the video. I have been looking many tutorials on the subject for the past 2 weeks and that video is the superior tutorial. The fact that we see code and the presenter do the modifications on screen is an absolute plus as it doesn't skip the "for granted" knowledge that the viewer may be missing.

can we do same process to set up custom roles for a enterprise application (ex ServiceNow) to achieve RBAC?

30:53 how is that id is generated for those roles, is it same as group id's or how?

Alex should see the Product link, the reason he doesn't is a typo in the code, (35:51 and later) for the first User.IsInRole it says ProductViewer instead of ProductViewers

I am following the process to assign a user to a role. However, the item "Users and Groups" under the "Manage" subsection is missing on my screen (after 31:25 mins). Has the process changed or the menu item relocated? I was able to do this 2 months ago

For testing API for QA people. How should I call the same API through the postman with user role and group??
