Interesting video Glenn. Just one thought, MFC just works. Beier gives you more possibilities, depending on the function you're planning. This light blue looks good on the body.
Still a few weeks until I decide.. i may go towards to Beier, but still thinking MFC as it is my first build. I can always use Beier on my 2nd build, right?? 😁😁😁
@@rivierarc right. This is the way I would do it, too. MFC gives you the main functions. Sometimes you may have to decide, which lights you want to use. If you like the semis and want to do a bigger project with additiona functions on truck and trailer Beier's for sure the weapon of choise.
@@rivierarcI've got the MFC-01, and too control my rotating beacons I've plug them into a spare channel in the receiver and use a toggle switch. So there are ways round the limitations of the MFC.

Yeah, I can't really talk and work on cars at the same time, not enough brain cells rattling around up there to do it well. If I were to build another big truck I would give the Beier setup a go. The MFC units work but for what you are getting it doe not allow for much if any really additions and it is rather limited over all. It does what it does well but asking any more out of it is not gonna happen. That and the customization of the sounds is super interesting to me.
@@scotthillier2154 unsure at the moment. There used to be 6 or 7 trucks there. We are trailing the M05s as a cheaper way of getting in to the hobby rather than the Xpress type chassis. Only time will tell. It will hopefully pick up again after the school holidays etc.
