I have been hard and critical of trade unions, but it's good to see trade unions and coops working in solidarity. There are some industries that really need traditional trade unions. I really like this video.
The ultimate democracy a distribution of the means of production to the lowest, smallest level/unit possible this is from credit unions, manufacturing, farming, energy production, retail, and transportation. It should include education at every level. Without deeper understanding how this can be applied everywhere the more likely this can replace the majority of all economic activity. A new form of capitalism will require incremental transformation. There are examples of advanced manufacturing co-ops.
Why would investors or board of governors need a separate union to organize, owners are already organized and hold regular meetings. The co-op is itself a union like structure, there is no need for a separate union as everyone has the right vote in the decisions
