Hello Everyone, EID simply means Electronic ID and it’s a way of having all your information regarding to your stay in an European country centralised in one place. You can also use this EID to log in and access all Government related sites in Malta. You can Obtain your EID after you’ve gotten your student permit or ID card by calling ID Malta and requesting for Your EID and a mail link will be sent to you on how to set it up.

Hi, Toke. If a student have a skill like barbing, are you legally permitted to do it, or you do it but behind closed doors?

Regarding Tax Depending one how much you earn, there certain Tax brackets which you fall under and that will determine how much will be deducted from you salary Also you have to pay for national insurance which covers your free healthcare because they’re usually deducted together. Also note that there are some companies/agencies that may want to take advantage you or over work you while not paying as much as they should, please beware of these antics…
