Thanks for aiding in shipments of items. These are the jobs that Americans complain about, but also complain that they're unemployed. Compared to what I've seen when working for Kawasaki rail division, you have it nice here!
I work at Amazon, I can't work any position that I'm at a station, makes the day long and it gets boring. I have to move around, doing what she is doing for 10 hours would drive me crazy.
We have cherry pickers at our amazon. When it comes to boxes they look for how much items are in the boxes and leave the rest for people that cant hardly read Chinese labels. They are not suppose to do that....but nothing is being done about it. Oh, but I love how your decant station is set up...ours is by hand with the totes.
You're not supposed to, but in my view it's the job of the company to sort it out. Otherwise you are taking the brunt like a slave, just do what's best for you. Because others aren't gonna do it for you.
I feel that I am suppressed on getting training since I was deceived into cross-training for decant. this is the worst job ever, it kills my back, I cross-trained to do it and they try to keep me here, I hate it. it looks easy, but you have to open 80 boxes per hour, and the track always shuts down and you have to stack your totes.
Bro it’s every man/woman for themselves at amazon in decant. If you at the front you better grab them lil boxes cause when I get up there Imma do the same😂💯
its stating that the box she scan...the products are assigned and scanned to that tote...instead of her scanning the tote barcode itself....shes at an automatic station...
True story I went insane in a matter of hours and when they told me I couldn’t go to the bathroom or I’d be written up for time off task I ripped my badge threw it at the manger and walked out 👍
I have been at a non traditional non sort so we get palletize and floor loads so you have to be trained on fork and clamp trucks its free on the job training but I got started on each receive line eventually they moved me off it because I was starting to out produce everyone else on the line getting 150 to close 300 uph
It's the perk of being near the front and everyone does that. At my fc you work half shift toward the front and half in the back, so either way you'll have to do large cases, but not the whole shift. I think it's fair.
i have a question im starting soon in like 3 weeks. I see that some of the boxes you choose you don’t have to open. Why is that? And the first thing you do is scan all the boxes? Thanks in adv
I want to ask, what is the job description, customer returns, vendor receivers? I work at Amazon in a sort center. Would love to do this particular job.
if u work regular and there’s an cross train in different departments and if u want to try just let the manager know…And when u training already and if the need people ur manager will send u there…
Im interested in working at amazon but how do you know what items to puy in which bin? Or does it matter as long as you fill the bin? My issue im scared of is how about if i put the wrong item in the wrong bin
when u open the box u have to press that green light u will see in the monitor it will check or it says this bin is another shipment and u have to remove it and get another bin…it was really easy job but most of the boxes are heavy… for me i love my job at amazon and i enjoyed it… try to apply at amazon
No it’s easy asf you scan the red barcode it comes up on screen if it’s a single pack order no opening the box throw it in the bin and off it goes if it’s got packs of items you open it and if it’s over 25lbs or over flows the bin split it into half and ya done send it off super easy and ya also scan the bins
you do realize...the boxes are on a conveyer belt...what one doesnt do...another one will & being in the front gives you a better advantage over all....work smarter not harder...typical soft men nowadays...
@@thatiam7547 I would choose the easy boxes too shiiit I have a problem with my wrist so I don’t really care I’ll just do my job work smarter like you said
I work at sdf1 in campbellsville ky, Used to be a picker, now i'm a packer. I'm currently in the process of transferring to Arizona PHX6 I'm hella nervous cause all the amzns in arizona are HUGE compared to the small place i'm at. Only thing I know is that it's a customer returns position
this is true....dont snitch...some ppl like looking at certain postions amazon has to offer...just in case they want to transfer dept after there 30 days....Ssshhhhhh
