Man you guys have some nice cows ! If I was closer to you I'd buy a few from you . We raise black angus as well but our main focus is crops . We have already started corn here in Michigan. Dad and I already have ran 45 acres . Our early planted 102 day corn is running 22 percent moisture at 180 to 200 bushels an acre. Our new johndeere s790 is hungry and ready to eat . Ok.. I feel REALLY uncomfortable saying this, because I honestly like your videos and your family. But, I might as well come out and say it..... I don't understand your customs there. I'm sitting here with the Elks Varsity Drinking Team and I showed them your video about how you predict the weather in South Dakota. Not ONE person here at the lodge has EVER sat naked in a puddle as part of the process ! Just to make sure that we may have not missed out on our education about meteorological sciences ( because we slept through our junior year in college... long story), I contacted the National Weather Bureau and asked them, " Are any of your staff sitting butt naked out in the parking lot right now?". Well guess what.... they blocked my phone number now and the court says I have to register as a sex offender ! Thanks Cole !! So, do me a favor... please publish a list of the weird customs you folks in South Dakota have that the rest of the civilized world has never heard of. It will CERTAINLY prevent these kind of misunderstandings in the future and will keep the SWAT team from having to visit my house again.

Watching Cole, the South Dakota Cattle Farmer hobble around on his bad knee, it occurred to me the differences between a cattle farmer and a South Dakota cowboy. Cole runs around in the 100 degree heat trying to stay cool wearing a tee shirt and short pants while working cattle. A South Dakota cowboy would be wearing a long sleeve shirt buttoned all the way up and a tight fitting pair of Wrangler jeans with a leather belt and a belt buckle about the size of a 1959 Cadillac hubcap. Not only that, where Cole wears some kind of long stocking over his bum leg, a South Dakota cowboy would be wearing an Ace bandage over his bad knee ON THE OUTSIDE of his pants so everybody could see how tough he is. He'd probably even have an Ace bandage on one of his elbows on the outside of his shirt....just in case the one on his knee wasn't apparent enough for everybody to see! Yeah, watching Cole work cattle reminds me of that book "Spots In Your Ears", by Hu Flung Dung
