For the season finale, Ben and the Ski The East team return to Tuckerman Ravine on Mt. Washington, NH. With perfect weather the crew makes some high speed descents, witnesses some brutal crashes, and manages to find time for one last costumed run at the end of the day.
Thanks for watching the series this past winter, our fellow shredders. Keep an eye out for Season 2 beginning Autumn 2014!
Music in this episode:
Sofa Surfers - "See the Light"
Motopony - "Seer"
Dead Can Dance - "The Host of Seraphim"
Blue States - "Red and Shine"

About The "Working For The Weekend" Series:
Longtime Meathead Films veteran, Ben Leoni, is now living in Portland, Maine, holding down a career and the daily office grind. In between piles of paperwork, he dreams of his weekends skiing in the mountains. Last season he made those dreams a reality.
Ben spent the winter of 2013 skiing the Northeast without the aid of chairlifts. Showcasing legendary backcountry zones as well as hidden gems around New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, "Working For The Weekend" is a groundbreaking new web series and the first of its kind in the region. From deep powder to treacherous ice, Ben and his crew of friends embody the "earn your turns" mantra for the East Coast.

3:34 dude is leaving blood on the snow as he tumbles down. One of the worst wipe outs I've seen

Don't let them fool you, the East does get plenty of snow and yes we do get excited for three inches. It was a great snow year, thanks for such a great video,

Awesome video. Very well done. I skied Tucks the first time when I was 12 years old. Last time when I was 22. Both with my father. That was 30 years ago now. I really enjoyed watching this.

Great Video. In my early 20's I spent 2 1/2 years in Warren/Waitsfield and worked at Sugarbush. Went to Tuckermans once...I was a better skier in my mid/late 20's (thanks to living there) but I made it down haha. Live in Colorado now and you are right, love it here but the east coast ski community is definitely 1 of a kind.

Good advertising for wearing a helmet. The bleeding head was completely avoidable.

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, totally confident in my abilities. Someone just died in an avalanche there earlier this month though, pretty crazy stuff.
