I love when creativity happens at the most unexpected time. I NEVER thought about writing a book before, but randomly on Xmas eve I thought of a Quokka story in my head when I was trying to fall asleep. I wrote it down on Xmas day. Now it’s published children’s book 🥰

I really relate to what you said about business owners needing to rest. I'm self employed (though in a more traditional kind of job) and working for yourself is just super exhausting, there's always something that could be done and it's so hard to switch off! I'm glad you have your lovely camper, and Whitby is one of my favourite places :) xx

I was gifted one of those rings long time ago. I'll paste the meaning: There's an old Irish saying that goes along with the Claddagh ring: "With these hands, I give you my heart and crown it with my love." The ring represents love, loyalty and friendship. The classic Claddagh design includes two hands clasped around a heart topped with a crown. Each of these elements has its own meaning: the hands represent friendship, the heart symbolizes true love, and the crown is for loyalty. If you're single, wear the ring on your right hand with the point of the heart facing outward (i.e. away from your hand). This shows that your heart is open to love. If you're in a relationship, wear the ring on your right hand with the point of the heart facing inward. This means your heart is already taken. If you're engaged, wear the ring on the left hand with the heart pointed outward to indicate that you're in a lifelong commitment. If you're married, wear the ring on your left hand ring finger with the heart pointed inward. This says to the world that you are married and your heart is taken forever.

My summers were always spent in Whitby. The whale bones used to be my favourite thing to walk to and when the Endeavour sails into the bay. Beautiful for a break away

What a wonderful little vlog. You seem so much more refreshed and calm after the trip! And sometimes all it takes to get our creative spark back is time to ourselves and new scenery. We can’t force art or inspiration, and burn out is too real. I’ve been feeling the overwhelm to have everything in my shop for the holidays and social media, but at the same time, I don’t want to rush it. When I rush I make art I’m not happy with and I sacrifice sleep and my health, which isn’t good. Thank you for sharing the history and beauty of this area with us.

This video made me sooo nostalgic, beacuse I was in Whitby 2011, when I was 16 by the time. I'm now 26 years old. I was back then with my family, and we were York and Manchester. We were in almost every place in B&B, but last days we were hotel in Manchester. I'm so happy to see a a little bit of Whitby. 😌✨ There is so many things to explain... Watching this video brought a little tear to my eye. I was born in Whitby, but raised in Newcastle away from my birth father and his side of the family. I haven't been back there in over 25 years, but I've always felt it's pull.... If that makes sense. Just seeing Whitby again through your channel has kinda given me a kick up the backside to plan a little trip of my own and on my own. It's one of those places where time just seems to stand still, but you can get so much inspiration from almost everywhere you look. Thank you for making this video! x

Love to see how you manage to work in your van. It was such a struggle for me the first several years. I had to convert my couch to a bed or table. No permanent desk or destination which makes for tons of inspiration! Mobiles office can be good and bad. One things for sure space is limited and organization is key! -Brandi
