The only thing I’d want different would be a conventional 4 in 1 bucket on the loader end, hopefully they become popular enough for some of us smaller companies can get our hands on them. It has all the ingredients to be a highly versatile machine, really does the work of 3-4 machines with one operator.

The Swedish Valtra Twin Trac machines can have the bucket on the rear so you see the job at hand. The Avant machine from Finland has the boom offset from centre for better viewing.

When you use the bucket up front, you have a small pipe on your right arm, to the left of the hydraulic hoses. There is a small pipe in the pipe and when you tilt the bucket, the innermost pipe should line up with the outermost pipe and then the bucket is parallel to the ground. Good luck from Sweden.

Regarding the front bucket, in sweden we use grading bucket also in the front, a low and long bucket, so you can visually see the edge of the bucket, which helps alot. bu

But there is 1 thing to keep in mind when driving a machine equiped with a tiltrotator. ALWAYS remove the tiltrotator when digging in grounds where can be BIIIG rocks and I meen rocks thats like 2-3m² or bigger. Because digging up rocks those sizees can cause the tiltrotator to break in its weakest points being the 360⁰ turning, the mountingpoints for the tiltcylinders or breaking the tiltcylinders beyond repair so just a smal headsup there. otherwise, cool to see another clip when your working with the huddig 👍👌

Tilt bucket was a Stantard already 85 or 86 and the Rotor Tilt System became a standard at the end of 90 here in Finland and I have wondered how long American machine drivers are going to be "stone age" during the development 🙂🙂🙂

This thing is insane

Have you ever sold or operated a side shift backhoe loader? Like the ones that are mainly found in Europe? They aren’t very common in North America obviously, but there’s at least one company, JCB that still produces them, mostly for big cities and areas where machines are working really close together. Caterpillar produced them for North America a long time ago, but they stopped producing them in NA due to most builders leaning towards the center mounted backhoes with the pivoting outriggers you typically see almost everywhere but they continue to evaluate the market. According to another video I saw, they’re apparently giving the side shifts a second chance in this country.

buy and add a lose backing camera on the roof front on the machine and use that to se over your hood. i did buy a nightvision system with 2 cameras front and back on the roof and placed em on the sides to get a top down. buckets go with planning bucket both front and back huddig have power most of the times to skip toof. Try not to jank things upp in the bucket to mutch you have the claw on the rototilt to use that to pick stones. Otherwise welcome to swedish standard.

With today's modern technology, may I suggest to Huddig engineers, install a HD camera near the front of the bucket. This with an HD screen in the cabin, you're set.

Would have been nice with a planning bucket for the back and I agree they could have done a parallel plate at the top on the front so you have something to go by. Cameras mounted in the front of the machine are fairly common to make visibility a bit better, it certainly ain't good.

You know, these are fine and dandy machines, but and this is a big one, what happens when it has a malfunction (and it will, sooner or later)? Since there are just a few dealers in the US, would you have to truck it back or have someone fly or drive to you? That could be one very expensive proposition.

How is parts/service/support Usually don’t have that with the euro machines in the states and the obsolescence problem

too late to see this video... regarding the view of the front bucket and its level. If the bucket is original, from the manufacturer of the machine, it should have fasteners welded in the right way. Please look at the right cylinder from the leveling of the bucket, along it there is a thin tube in which there is a rod attached to the upper pin of the loader by the bucket. When you close the loader bucket (on yourself) then this rod comes out of this tube, its tip is painted red. when only the red part of the rod sticks out of that tube, you know the bucket blade is set to push the soil perfectly horizontal to the entire machine. We have two huddig machines in the company, the second one has a non-original loader bucket and this relationship is no longer maintained, a different profile of the entire bucket and mounting. Your reaction to the machine is great, after a year of working on it, I am still impressed with its capabilities. From what I learned from the service technician, Huddig is conquering America and is very well received, which made the waiting period for the new machine much longer, a much larger number of orders. We want more Hudding from you! Show it on the tracks and when working at height, it can be great material!
