The designers at 59 Productions are responsible for creating some of the most incredible projection designs of our time, by creating innovative ways to tell stories, and new ones. These designers don't necessarily come from the world of technology, but rather a place where artistic, creative thinking is valued above all else.
Watch as we unfold some of the work and meaning behind the projections of 59 Productions, from their work on War Horse to the Olympic Games opening ceremony and so much more.
"We are never more excited here than when something comes up that we don't know the answer to. And that's where the sparks of energy, the adrenaline comes from, is not knowing whether an idea you just had is going to be possible, if an idea is possible, but knowing you can go out and find the answer to that." - 59 Productions.

If I was younger, I'd be camped out on your stoop, begging for a job. Integrating projection into live theater is what I'm trying to do here, and there you guys are... killing it!

I love how productions have 10 plus people doing all the jobs required . I have been working for 20 odd years at a beautiful high school theater . I design the scenery , build the scenery , build all the props and special effects . Then I design the light plot , hang and focus fixtures , program the light board , train the student board operator , not to mention setting up sound board and body mics. Then when that’s all done, train the backstage running crew and work with the actors on history of the props and how to use them . Just me . Two or three major shows a year for over 20 years !! I also teach stagecraft ! I love my job ( but am tired ! Lol ) Bullard high school , Fresno CA
