I like this idea. Only difference I would do is add some heat shrink on one of the exposed wires to prevent a short.

Nice tutorial, some criticism. Should add some heat shrink to prevent shorts, also would been nice to see it light up

Thanks for the tutorial, would love to make one! What power source did you use for one 3mm led like that, would you make a tutorial on how to connect to the power source too?
@MrMYH1990
@MrMYH1990 2 года назад
you can use whatever power source you want. it depends on how much LED's you want to use. If you want i can make a video about it, just let me know what kind of source fits for you and how many LEDs you would like to have and i will help you out

@@MrMYH1990 Thanks :) Lots of questions from an amateur like me, such as...How to use 2x AAA battery for 3mm led bulb? Can I use only one 3v bulb with that, do I need resisfor? Can I use 6 bulbs at the same time, is it series or parralel connection, how?
@MrMYH1990
@MrMYH1990 2 года назад
@@KosBrick If you connect 2x AAA in series means 3V, and since a LED is an diode you need to limit the current to prevent short circuit, this will destroy the LED. i recommend to place the leds in parallel, however, if you connect to much of them, they will become less bright.

@@MrMYH1990 Thanks a lot man, looking forward to see more led tutorials from you, especially for Lego or toys custom led, not much basic tutorials vids on those subjects for beginners 🙂

I love your idea, but I think it's wrong to widen the holes with a drill.
@anertan
@anertan 3 года назад
It's not widening, but opening the lamp post. Both sides are sealed with a thin layer of plastic

@@anertan do you know by any chance if there are more types of this lamp? Because guy on video drilled the hole so easily and i have my lamp thats same as his filled up with plastic inside... So i cannot drill the hole

Good video! I'm just mounting several lights in my city, I have some bulbs like the ones in the video, to install 3 units should I put 3V in them? Thank you

Top hole can take 3mm diameter but recommend 2mm diameter, bottom part needs to be 1.5 to 2mm or else it can break through the lamppost due to the indents
