Ahhh, was this the Firefly Burn? Or the Firefly Music Festival? I may eventually work at the music festival, but this year I was at the Burn. Totally different and they are not related.
Thank you very much, but I honestly think it wasn't my best, BUT the next few vlogs and the next full length personal van tour video should be really good! Van Tour video coming soon! I recorded it already, but the footage was unusable hahaha. So back to square one.
Great vlog Ryan, I'm enjoy seeing videos like this that show the festival jobs. Ever since you said you got this parking job, I have been curious to see what it would be like! I look forward to the next video man!! Also just curious, does your patreon page have extra vlog videos that aren't on your youtube?
I took my Patreon down. I still have all the videos from it. No one ever bothered to join. There was a fun woodstove vlog video on there I might still upload from my first van.
@@OutdoorsEmbrace I actually joined your patreon last week lol!!! I was very curious to see more of your content. Would you be able to share those other videos with this dude-boi?
@NicksIncredibleBricks ahh, so what I will do is add the "Join" Button on my channel itself and add the videos there for people who would like more content. I'd rather have it all right on the channel. I have this to "link only" viewing atm. I'd actually have to find them, I uploaded them to a different channel.
@@OutdoorsEmbrace Excellent, that would be great. I love your vlogs - they're realistic and you provide good insight on the logistics. I also like seeing videos of you or other people inside Great White, as it helps me see the scale of the build (for example, seeing you seated inside gives me an idea of how the ceiling height will be when I do my e-series van)
what do you mean by your brain food goals at 1:30 ? what do u eat cause you had the best short roof van layout since the dawn of van builds on youtube so ur brain must be real healthy
@@OutdoorsEmbrace call me paranoid but I wouldn't want a spontaneous Lithium fire near me. I don't ever charge my Amazon China wireless vaccum at night when I'm sleeping. 😬 pretty ridiculous as early 1910 electric vehicles didn't use Lithium or combust spontaneously. Ugh...
@MyFriendlyPup that's a kind remark! Thank you! Honestly I see more risk as more reward, but this would be a dumb way for my entire dream to literally go up in flames. I might not fix this issue for a while, but I'm definitely adding it to the list of things to fix before the van is completed. The scooter needs a housing anyway and I've been wanting to have it separated somehow from the rest of the storage below the bed, I just haven't figured out how yet.
You mentioned in a prior vlog about installing a recirculating shower. Heard show stopper is soap clogging system. Have you figured out the workaround? Also have you considered a back mini-split A/C? They are super efficient and supposedly can be run for DAYS on solar.
Yes, AC mini split will be going in the back! Soap is the issue. My father and I are designing this system still, he works as an engineer and I have his mind as well. This system definitely requires some out of the box thinking. Will be making video in future about what we come up with.
@@OutdoorsEmbrace I don't think anyone else has both a backpack mini-split A/C and recirculating shower installed. I would really like to see how far you can push the mini-split A/C. I'm skeptical about getting the recirculating shower to work correctly but if you do, patent it. Gotta believe it would be a huge business opportunity.
@lapwahlee7065 we were even discussing the merits of a no soap shower, which if you look into using no soap, it could be a healthy way to shower long term since soap distroys the oils on skin that protect from dirt. But I would definitely like to use soap in this shower. We will see what we can come up with. We are not there yet. It will be tried at least to come up with a solution, we will not just resort to a no soap shower to start.
@@OutdoorsEmbrace Yeah maybe, shampoo hair in kitchen sink. Endless hot shower even without soap has got to be amazing. Also like how you are living in the partially built van, work out the kinks, figuring out sometimes the ideal upgrade may not be the most practical.
@lapwahlee7065 oh I'm not always being 100% practical with this build. If it's cool, I'm doing it haha. Pretty much. It's going to be very organized though. But this is my dream van, so... Easy to live in already, no water, just water bottles. Use a cast iron, easy clean without water. Use showers at gyms. Easy. Not much to figure out really.
This is my second and more expensive than my first van. First van cost $3000 empty and $4000 for upgrades. This one cost $22K empty and so far $10K for upgrades. Not too much more $ is needed to finish, but I am focusing on putting quality items into it, so a little more money is expected.
@@OutdoorsEmbrace Thanks man I love your videos and personally it just makes sense cuz in 2 years time about 24/months you'd be wasting 24 k average if you find an appartment for 1 grand a month and have nothing to show for it after 2 years in my mind it'd have paid itself off for this reason and the govt won't be able to reclaim it like a house either keep it up brother!
@@xavierlazer8002 let's say this one will cost about $35K to $40K once completed. That's a ton less than a house, plus I can sell this for about double what I put into it once I use it for 5 years, I will sell it for whatever price it can go for (probably a profit like my first van sold for $12k at 264K miles after 5 years of travel in it)
@@OutdoorsEmbrace Oh yeah... I was thinking the sliding door because I plan on putting a window on my sliding door and your video was really helpful in explaining what someone needs and how to do it. I plan on going back to it once I get mine.
So mentioned a date then. U are having cheese with your bro. .. I ain't even gonna ask 😭🤣🤣🤣 I already know. .. u forgot to brush your teeth again ryan Dammit
I tried being vegan (whole food diet) for 6 months. By the end of 6 months, I was confused as to where I was, literally. I introduced meat and immediately felt better. A few months later, I started to recall how good I felt mentally doing Keto years ago, so I decided to try something new - Carnivore. And boy did it work wonders. I've never thought so fast in my life and almost all ailments went away immediately. If you look up some of the few Carnivore diet studies that have been done, namely the Harvard ones, they are extremely positive. My aim on my channel is not to convert people to my diet, but to show my daily habits and life. So I do not wish to necessarily fight with my subscribers on the topic haha.
